Cyclades are a complex of marvellous cosmopolitan islands with crystal blue waters, picturesque villages, mysterious caves, imposing castles, intense or calm night life (depending on the island) and a lot of paths awaiting for the most demanding visitors to discover the beauty of these islands. There are enough organized campings and the presentation will take place in accordance with the island, where they are located.
It is the most famous, cosmopolitan and popular island of Greece. Mykonos is a pastoral paradise due to its diversed beaches: Paradise, Super Paradise, Elia, Panormos, Paraga, Psarou, Ornos, Platis Gialos, Agia Anna and the amazing night life…
The campings, located here, are the following: Mykonos Paraga Beach (it has rents, bungalows and hostels available for rental). Another camping is Paradise Beach Resort (it offers wooden houses, bungalows and studios for rental).
From Mykonos you must definitely participate in a daily cruise to Delos island (one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece).
Another interesting excursion includes Rhenia islands (with gorgeous sandy coasts).
Additionally while being in Mykonos, also explore Tragonisi (or else Dragonisi) island (with magnificent caves).

This excellent island is very famous due to its volcano (Greece has two famous volcanos the second one is located at Nisiros island), the magical sunsets, the vineyards… The vineyards of Santorini start from the western parts of the island above the cliffs of Caldera and descend to the eastern beaches. Santorini’s wines are very tastefull and popular around the world!
The island is actually a complex of islands consisting of Thira, Thirassia, Aspronissi, Palea and Nea Kameni. Santorini has two campings: Santorini (where you can rent a tent, studio, sleeping bags and youth hostels) and Perissa camping (their page provides only telephone of the owner of the camping for further communication). Santorini is a top destination for hiking excursions, since the island has a lot of signed paths.
The beaches in Santorini are among the absolute highlights of the Greek dream island. There are long sandy beaches, white, black, even red beaches, and also secluded wild romantic dream bays in stunning nature guarantee an unforgettable stay on this vacation island. Some of the most famous coasts are: Red beach, Black beach, White beach, Perissa, Monolithos, Vlichada, Baxedes, Caldera and so many others…
If you are a wind surfing lover then Kamari beach is your ideal place to enjoy sea and winds.
From Santorini, Oia port you can participate on a daily cruise to Old and Nea Kammeni (the biggest volcanic crater is located here and it is called Dafni) and Thirasia island. Old and Nea Kameni are surrounded by thermal springs known for their therapeutic benefits. Visitors can enjoy a swim in the hot springs. The healing waters of Nea Kameni consist of sulfur, iron, and manganese, which act against many diseases. The warm water are therapeutic for those suffering from musculoskeletal deseases (arthritis, muscle stiffness) and skin disorders (dermatitis, eczema).
Santorini Volcano and Sea
Ios island (Magganari beach) is also a wonderful destination for a daily cruise from Santorini.
Santorini has an open air cinema in Kamari, an airport and a ferry connection with the following ports: Piraeus, Paros, Naxos, Ios, Kythnos, Tinos, Folegandros, Heraklion (Crete), Anafi, Skiathos, Sikinos, Mykonos, Thessaloniki, Syros, Serifos and Kimolos.
Andros is a beautiful green island known for its hot springs (water of Sariza spring is potable for those who suffer from nefrolithiasis, kidney stones). There are plenty of interesting coasts such as Piso Gialia, Achla, Vitali, Megali Peza and so many others. If you like wind surfing then you should definitely visit Kypri beach.
The island has only one camping, named Andros (located 500m away from Gavrio port and it offers tents for rental). Andros island is an ideal destination for those who love hiking excursions, because the island has a lot of signed paths.
Εvery year during August, the International Festival of Andros is the epicenter of summer cultural activities, offering its residents and visitors special concerts, theatrical plays and local events. In Chora of Andros there is also an open air cinema called Alex.
When visiting Andros island, remember to taste marzipan sweets, called amigdalota, kaltsounia and pastelakia (3 different kind of sweets). From Andros you can go to Tinos island for a daily excursion. Andros has a ferry connection with the ports of: Rafina, Tinos, Mykonos, Siros, Tzia (Kea), Kithnos, Paros and Naxos island.
Paros has the most in number camping facilities in Cyclades. Krios, Koula (offers tents for rental) and Santa Irini are located in Parikia. Camping Naousa is located in Naousa and Surfing Beach Paros (offers bungalows, wooden houses for rental, also provides scuba diving lessons, wind surfing, horse riding) is established in Santa Maria beach.
Paros is surrounded by very exquisite beaches: Faragas, Kolimpithres, Santa Maria, Palm Beach, Marcelo, Molos, Logaras, Aliki, Krios, Kalogeros, Glifa and many others.
And if you chase the wind, you’ll rejoice in the world-famous kitesurfing and windsurfing sites (Golden Beach and Pounda Beach).
From Paros you can participate on a daily cruise to nearby islands: Naxos, Antiparos, Delos-Mykonos, Heraklia, Koufonisi.
Other daily cruises are: Antiparos – Despotiko island (where the Sanctuary of Apollo is located), Aliki – Panteronisia islets – Antiparos, Naxos-Schinoussa-Heraklia, Naxos-Koufonisia, Amorgos or Koufonisia.
Paros is also a suitable destination for those who like hiking excursions and walking on paths.
Paros has an airport and a ferry connection with the following ports: Rafina and Piraeus port, Siros, Mykonos, Tinos, Andros, Sifnos, Serifos, Milos, Kimolos, Folegandros, Sikinos, Naxos, Ios, Santorini, Amorgos, Anafi, Astypalea, Heraklion (Crete) and Antiparos.
For those who wish serenity and relaxation moments during vacations, Antiparos island is the ideal destination. And the camping Antiparos is your best choice.
The island has so many beautiful coasts such as: Vathis Volos, Soros, Agios Sostis, Psaraliki, Panagia, Glifa.
The most famous sight of this small but picturesque island is the Cave of Antiparos. This interesting natural wonder is full of stalactites and stalagmites which form different shapes. Located on the southeastern part of the island, the cave has a long history.
From Antiparos you can participate on a boat trip to Despotiko and Panteronisia islands.
You can easily and comfortably travel from Piraeus, Rafina, Lavrio and the surrounding islands to Paros by ferry and take one of the boats that depart from Paroikia or the ferry boats from Pounda to reach Antiparos.
Naxos is well known for its beaches, some of them have been voted in the list of 10 most beautiful beaches of the world. A few of these wonderful beaches are: Agia Anna, Agios Prokopis, Plaka and Agios Georgios (ideal for wind surfers), Mikri Vigla (for those who love kite surfing), Apolonas and so many others with crystal blue waters and sandy coastal lines.
The organized campings here are the following: Maragas Beach (it also offers rooms, studios, tents with beds and luxury rooms for rental). Naxos is another camping (also offers tents, studios, apartments, bungalows and hostel for rental). One of the most picturesque villages with marvelous greek cuisine is Apiranthos.
Naxos is also known for its paths, where you can walk and discover unique caves and Monasteries. One of the important sites to visit is the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo and Demeter. Naxos has also an open air cinema.
From Naxos you can participate on a daily cruise to nearby islands such as: Paros, Delos-Mykonos, Santorini, Amorgos, Heraklia-Koufonisia-Schoinousa).

Naxos has a ferry connection with the following ports: Piraeus, Rafina, Thessaloniki, Amorgos, Anafi, Astypalea, Donousa, Folegandros, Ikaria, Ios, Heraklia, Heraklion, Kalimnos, Kastelorizo, Kimolos, Kos, Koufonisia, Milos, Mykonos, Nissyros, Paros, Rhodes, Samos, Santorini, Schoinousa, Sikinos, Siros, Thirasia, Tilos, Tinos and Fournous islands (of Ikaria).

Milos is universally known for its Afrodite (a marvelous sculpture located at Museum of Louvre, Paris, France). Milos has enchanting beaches, very well known, such as Sarakiniko (bring your own umbrella with you), Firiplaka, Achivadolimni, Gerontas, Agios Ioannis, Triades, Kleftiko, Tsigrado, Papafragkas and so many others.
The only camping of the island is Milos (it offers bungalows for rental). Underwater caves, underwater hot springs and volcanic rocks make scuba diving one of the most amazing activities in Milos. Milos is also famous for its hot thermal springs. For those who like hiking experience, the island has a lot of paths (non signed), however ideal for discovering the different strands of the island.
The ruins of Paliorema Sulfur Mine, are remnants of an important period of industrial history on the island. Milos contains abundant mineral deposits of volcanic origin including sulfur, manganese, bentonite and perlite, all of which were, or continue to be, subject to industrial exploitation. Milos Mining Museum is located in Adamas, the harbour of the island, and its establishment aims to honour and promote the mining history of Milos and to display the island’s mineral wealth.
From Milos island you can participate on a daily cruise to Kimolos island, Glaronisia islets, Poliegos islets.

KEA (TZIA) ISLAND
Kea island (another name of the island is Tzia), is not either very known nor very popular island, however it is located near Attica (almost one hour journey from Lavrio port). Xila, Sikamia, Gialiskari, Pisses, Otzias are only a few of the most loveable coasts of the island.
There is only one camping here, it is called Kea (and it offers tents for rental). For hiking lovers, Kea has a lot of signed paths to walk and discover the beauty of the island.
The most important attraction of the island is the Lion of Kea. It is is dated back to 600 BC.
Kea has a ferry connection with the following ports: Siros, Tinos, Kythnos, Mykonos and Lavrio.
Amorgos: The island of deep blue sea. The capital city, Chora, is considered the most beautiful of all Cyclades islands. The island has many unique beaches with crystal clear waters: Agia Anna, Psili Ammos, Choclakas, Agios Pavlos, Maltezi, Gramvousa, Paradisia are only a few of the wonderful coasts of Amorgos.
One of the most important sites of the island is the Monastery of Virgin Mary (Panaghia) Hozoviotissa. The island has three campings: at Aigiali port (it offers tents for rental) and at Katapola port, Amorgos camping (it offers tents for rental) and Kastanis camping (it offers tents and huts – tents made by canvas which have beds with linen and electricity- for rental).
Amorgos is a great destination for hiking excursions, since it has a lot of paths ending to the beautiful sites of the island. From Amorgos you can participate on a daily cruise to the nearby islands of: Koufonisi, Donousa, Irakleia, Schoinousa, Naxos, Santorini and Ios, as well as to Nikouria islet (a small island about 300m away from Saint Pavlos beach).
Amorgos dishes are tasteful and do not hesitate to choose cheese pies, fried dough strips and papatato (goat meat with potatoes cooked in the oven). Amorgos has a ferry connection with the following ports: Piraeus, Rafina, Aigiali (Amorgos), Donoussa, Astypalea, Iraklia, Ios, Koufonisia, Kos, Leros, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Patmos, Rhodes, Santorini, Schinoussa, Tinos, Folegandros.
Ios is a paradise island with never ending summer parties, ideal destination for young people who love non-stop dansing, clubbing and amusement.
Ios has so many beautiful beaches, Maganari is the most popular, Kalamos, Yalos, Pappas, Koumbara, Agia Theodoti, Milopotas, where there are two campings: Far Out Beach Club, (offers rooms, bungalows -in windmill shape- and cabins for rental) and Purple Pig and Stars, (also offers rooms for rental).
From Ios you can participate on a daily cruise to Santorini, Folegandros or Sikinos.
If you like hiking excursions then in Ios you will have the opportunity to discover the island through its paths.
Ios has a ferry connection with the following ports: Piraeus, Rafina, Amorgos, Anafi, Folegandros, Heraklion (Crete), Kimolos, Koyfonisia, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Santorini, Serifos, Sifnos, Sikinos, Syros, Tinos.
Serifos: The island with the wild beauty, however, attractive to those who love diversity, on the one hand the rocky mountains and on the other hand the beaches, other with sand and other with pebbles. Chora is located on a rock and the Castle of Serifos worth a visit especially during sunset. The view is magical. In Chora you will find lots of taverns, with delicious dishes, some of them with panoramic view of the island. Coralli camping is considered one of the three best campings of Greece. It is located at Livadakia beach and includes also studios and bungalows for rental. The island has so many beautiful coasts such as Psili Ammos, Karavi, Avlomonas-Ganema-Livadi-Vagia are ideal for kite surfers and wind surfing activities as well as scuba diving.
Additionaly, Serifos has so many signed hiking trails for those who wish to discover the beauty and secrets of the island on foot. Before leaving the island do not forget to taste aubergine croquets, fennel pancakes, baked mastello (soft cheese). From Serifos you can participate on daily excursion with ferry to Milos or Sifnos.
Serifos has a ferry connection with the following ports: Piraeus (Athens), Lavrio, Folegandros, Ios, Kea, Kimolos, Koufonisia, Kythnos, Milos, Paros, Santorini, Sifnos, Sikinos, Syros.
Sifnos is one of the most beautiful cyclades island due to its architecture and castle and when you visit it you will not regret it. Some of the most beautiful coasts are: Faros, Apokofto, Platis Gialos, Vathi, Fikiada.
At Kamares beach, there is the only one camping of the island, Makis (it also offers rooms for rental). From Sifnos you can organize a daily cruise either to Milos or Serifos island or Poliaigos (a small islet with crystal blue waters).
Sifnos is ideal to explore it on foot, since the island has so may signed trails. Before you leave the island do not forget to taste pastelia (a confection of honey and sesame), they are delicious!

Folegandros is an island with wild beauty and attractive cliffs and beaches. It is still untouched by the crowds of visitors, hence, it offers a different kind of vacations. There are a lot of beaches, some of them are: Katergo, Agali, Vardia, Livadi, Karavostasi and so many other waiting to be discovered either on boat or on foot.
Only one camping is existing here and it is called Livadi (located at the beach Livadi). Folegandros has a lot of foot paths for those who love hiking. Also is a great destination for those who love gastronomic dishes, Matsata (pasta with chicken and red sauce), Kalasouna (pie of onions and fresh cheese), Karpouzenia (sweet made of baked watermelon-sesame-semolina).
Folegandros has a ferry connection with the following ports: Piraeus (Athens), Amorgos (Katapola), Ios, Kimolos, Koyfonisia, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Santorini, Serifos, Sifnos, Sikinos, Syros.
